What you'll need
LVDS repair cable - 31456634
bumper harness - 32320372
Screwdrivers, torx T27, sockets, large drill bit or step drill bit, drill, harness tape, zip ties, silicone, rubber gasket for the cable (optional)

If you're doing this you probably got into a fender bender and you'll need to also replace the bumper harness. The bumper harness is easy to replace.

The tricky part is the car side. Here is where the cable will go and where we will drill a hole into the firewall (there should have been a hole with a plug from the factory but apparently not)

You'll need to start by dissembling the front bumper, frunk and the glove box inside.

Once you have the glove box removed you'll also need to disconnect and remove the WAM.

The WAM is on the right and has a bunch of video cables.

The cable we need to replace has a light green connector. There is a screw at the very bottom of the WAM, it's holding it into a bracket. With the T27 screw removed it will slide down and out.

Behind the WAM there is a gasket with cables, be very careful as the entire harness is $6000 to replace. It's behind some soundproofing.

Pull the soundproofing off exposing the gasket and firewall.

From the engine bay you'll find a spot on the left with the same harness and gasket.

Drill a hole large enough to pass the video cable. I suggest getting some kind of gasket then applying silicone sealant. If you don't have a gasket the silicone may be good enough on it's own. The picture below shows where I drilled the hole with a step drill bit.

Warning: This location is fairly safe to drill. There is space between this spot and any cables, there is also 1-2"/10cm space with foam soundproofing and a gap. There is a module back there so if you go too far you will damage things.

Route the video repair cable through the same place as the original harness. Use zip ties to hold it in place.

You may have some extra cabling, you can loop the extra and tuck it behind the WAM.
