More New Owner Questions - Key and Computer Glitch

Hello All,

First two questions well answered, much appreciated.

More new owner questions for the new-to-me 2024 Polestar 2 AWD.

1 - I only received one key fob for my car. It appears I need both to set up the phone as key and connect my phone to the car. Is there any way around this? If not, do I just contact Polestar for a new key fob or are there cheaper / better alternatives to acquire a second key?

2 - On our second car start yesterday after charging the climate control and cruise stopped working. They would not reset until I plugged in for 10 seconds, unplugged, then plugged in. Did we do something wrong to make this happen? Is there a way to reset the car without plugging in?

1 - No other way around this, if you didn't receive all the keys, the missing ones need to be unregistered from the car - this is quite common and they should have done it before delivery, they shouldn't be selling cars with registered keys they don't have access to for obvious reasons.

2 - The AC is controlled by the infotainment and that very rarely misbehaves in ways that make it stop. Happened to me a couple of times over the last 5 years, once while driving. Keep the home button (line at the bottom of the infotainment screen) depressed for over 10 seconds and it will reboot. Easy and safe enough to do even while driving.
