Haven't heard anything as of today - think they are tackling AC, OBC and Recall issues (free run down hill with camera fix, look ma' - no brakes!). They fix one item, create problems elsewhere (unintended), this is where good unit and regression testing would come into play.

 

They should be well into retooling/restructuring for the new processor and it could be that there won't be many more updates until this is in place. Would be a good use of resources, but a bit crap move to the early adopters.

Based on how hard time they have had to root out bugs and simple stuff like seat memory, there are structural issues in their software that needs addressing. Switching to a new processor and its new features is the time to do such a thing.

 

My rear taillights don't do the cool dance anymore. They just fade on. I hope they fix it in the next software update. I'm on 1.3.18.

 

Could even be as simple as they're not working. Outside of the service industry the entire population of Sweden takes August off work.

 

August? Its July at large. But usually in SW there is quite some flex to it, so expect reduced work force last weeks of June and first weeks of August. But it there is a shutdown, its in July.

 

Hey all, just curious—has there been any word on the next software update? Wondering if something might be dropping soon, but I haven’t seen much chatter lately.

 

Week 36 is the rumor, at least for the EX90.

 

I just got an update from my service writer - “technician updated software to the latest version and confirmed that vehicle responds quicker after entering sleep mode…. Both recalls were performed…”

sw 1.3.18 prior to drop off 7/21 for various issues including wake from deep sleep mode

ASSM (shutter module) replaced for one of recall items - don’t know what other item is

will report details when I pickup next week after some door alignment work at local body shop
