You’re not the first to struggle with that. I did too (as did at least one reviewer). It’s on the underside of the lip right above the number/licence plate.

 

Thanks! I found it, that is a low button, but it works.....now if I could just get a button in the app to open the trunk things would be great!

Also key tag (fob) or IOS phone with digital key needs to be on you and near to hatch. Also needs to be forward motion kick centered on license plate. Side swipe kick doesn't work.

 

Side swipe works fine as long as you only go in one direction. Manual is clear that waiving your foot back and forth will not work (i.e. swipe left and the car will prepare to open but if you then swipe back right it cancels the request). Not sure what they were thinking one this one as to me the single direction swipe is more likely to resemble an animal running through than a back and forth but whatever...

 

The manual says you can open/close boot in the center display but it doesn't say specifically where. 🙄 Has anybody found it?

I certainly don't want to get out the car to open the hatch when picking up curbside groceries or food. 🤨

 

Can be found by selecting car icon at bottom center left of center display. Make sure sure to hold open trunk icon till it starts opening. Just touching icon doesn't open it.
