I just want a North American or European reviewer to be able to DRIVE one of these cars and give a review instead of just sitting in a showroom model. They've been for sale in China for 6 months, how can they not have any video reviews by Western YT-ers and journalists? I'm sure there is an embargo, but it starts to look like they are trying to hide something.

I watched it, and it was fine, but nothing all that new.

Bit of a nitpick, but it annoyed me that he didn't seem to know that the home screen was adjustable, both the apps, and that you can slide the map to the right to cover one or both columns of displayed apps, so that you have a massive map display.

 

Interesting - I wonder if you can get the map on the instrument cluster screen? That's one of my favorite features in the P2...

more an ad than a reveiew, and definitely nothing objective.

From a stranger, sure, but we trust Kris - he’s been doing this a long time and drives a Taycan so he knows what a good car feels like. And since he couldn’t drive it, it’s all subjective anyways… how nice is the leather and how does the sound system sound…

 

It's so strange that there aren't a lot of full driving tests and reviews by owners and journalists. It's as if the car doesn't exist.

 

They’ve delivered a few thousand in all of China and none outside of China. There are several owner and journalist reviews in China that you can find online - check dongchedi.com.
Some western YouTubers have already said they are doing a test drive event in May whose results will be embargoed until sometime after.
