I am tired of turning off the lights every time I put the car on parking mode or open a door, I am tired of the "automatic" climate heating up to 22 Celsius when is supposed to keep it cool at whatever I want when I program or trigger climate from the app, I am tired of not been able to roll my windows because "there is no one in the drive seat" while I am cleaning a window or whatever at the other side of the car, I am tired of having a vertical screen with an incredible waste of space while watching, well, thee few things we can watch, because I grew old tired of not even having Netflix app on Google Automotive, Just tired, tired of writing post after after post while getting no features included...

But I am not here this time to suggest one more thing Polestar, I am done, at this point I am completely exhausted about trying to make the car any better by suggesting every single feature that as users me and my family require, i am just not going to buy another polestar anymore. My next car is going to be a Tesla.

Agreed! Especially when they are wrong … like saying there’s no way to turn off the interior lights when there’s a big old button to do just that, as explained in the manual…

People that buy Polestars tend to be "car" people. Polestar doesn't come to you. You went after it. This is something my wife might ask me about (she doesn't drive the car) and then I would show her the car icon and how to adjust the lighting. If you have a car and you didn't even play around with the software to become familiar with it, that's on you. Sorry if you couldn't find how to make fart noises. You kinda deserve a Tesla.

If you haven't been able to find a simple button to turn the interior lights on or off in the Polestar, I can only imagine what you'll do with the amount of options that Tesla has. You don't deserve to have a Polestar.

HAHAHAHAHA! You guys think you are such smarty-pants!! that for your POV to make sense other people have to be dumb to not know where is a button! LOL
If you would please read again the title of the post with me: Roof interior lights automatic activation cannot be disabled

But let me share my ignorance with you, just a little, on how many times you need to hit that button when the user DID NOT requested a light activation, this happens when:
-when placing the car in park mode.
-when removing the driver seatbelt.
-when opening a door.
-when unlocking the car.
-when opening the trunk.

That is how many times the user have to click on that annoying button every single time, instead of, big news guys!!, having a menu option to select when the user: wants this to happen, look at that, how simple would the world would turn out and we could just avoid this types of posts!!

But I knew this post was going to bring all these hate which is why I never came back to the forums again, but I think that this types of post are indeed NEEDED, why? Because Polestar does not listen to feedback, otherwise this post would not exist.

We’ve told you how to disable automatic interior lighting at least twice. Not really anyone else’s problem if you’re not listening and would prefer to complain…

Your ignorance seems to be "not being able to read":

tbh if you did not preface it with a straight up false claim, most of us on the forum is with you on the rest of the points (maybe some not all but not none), tons of us have been asking years for manually selecting precondition temp, rolling the window sure annoying too (well the pro is you don't have a start car button to press each time you hop in), [inserts all the feature requested either here or on the official Facebook group], let along them not being able to fix a backup camera (legally mandated btw) etc. People at P* seems to not care until their lead hits his/her head on the wall one day and decides to do something useful for once or twice. :ROFLMAO:

ok, but I did not place a false claim, let's for instance analyze the following everyday scenario:
"A husband drops her wife to do groceries, and she gets down the car and gets the bags from the trunk."
Let us analyze how many times does the automatic light gets turned on while doing this simple thing while keeping a counter on how many times do we turn off the lights:
-We arrive at the supermarket and park in a parking spot.
Click 1 - To turn off the lights
-We talk about what things we need and any of us remove the seatbelt.
Click 2 - To turn off the lights
-We agree on the list and the wife opens the door to step out the car.
Click 3 - To turn off the lights
-She approaches the trunk and opens it
Click 4 - To turn off the lights

In less that 1 minutes I had to turn off the lights 4 times!! 4!!
This automatic madness is not a false claim, and just needs to stop.
Specially at night, where there is no dimmer on that light and it just beams the eye light a laser.

Not without all the unnecessary hate in the middle.

I'm not sure why you insist on the light cannot be set to not come on automatically, as per manual (linked once by me and once by @Jupiter7 in the above replies):
Perhaps because all of the hate speech in the entire thread which I was not going to read at all, it was that and because of the bad choose of words in the manual when I looked for it since the entire paragraph refers to the "passenger lights" and not driver nor cabin lights making it to be poorly explained, which leads to interpret that only works for the driver's passenger.
I just test that button and ir works for all the lights. Thank you.
