They dropped Park Pilot from this update. The intention was to launch it partially (fit and slot) with tilting mirrors.
I used only twice park pilot functionality in EQE (because it was sloooow) so not the most importat feature for me but wife needs it. Reverse tilting mirrors I need.

Found another glitch after cleaning the middle screen with new functionality, exactly after the countdown finished, my screen turned to be full screen on Tidal app (other might experience other apps). All other buttons (home, etc) were not visible. Only when i changed to D or R its back to normal, but when i pressed P, the full screen Tidal was back.

I performed soft reset to get them back to normal.

Let me know if anyone experience the same?

Quite a difference between the EX90 and P3 descriptions

Here is what it says on the Volvo EX90 page
Software updates | Volvo Support EN-CA

Updates in software 1.2.6
Software release date: February 10, 2025.
Note
This update will be available as an over-the-air download about three weeks after the software release date.
Wireless Apple CarPlay
Apple CarPlay gives you another way of using your iPhone via the vehicle's interface. You can use certain communication, navigation and media apps on your iPhone via the center display, as well as the steering wheel buttons and voice control.
Connect your iPhone to the vehicle via Bluetooth and activate Apple CarPlay. After setting up CarPlay for the first time, it automatically starts when you connect your phone via Bluetooth again.
Digital Key
Digital key is available for compatible Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel devices. To set up a new digital key, navigate to the owner profile in the center display, select Car Keys and Set up digital key. Then scan the QR code using your device and follow the link that appears.
You can also share a key across platforms, such as between compatible Android and Apple devices. Remember to check the compatibility of your device on the manufacturer's website and whether this feature is available in your market.
Vehicle Locator
You can use the Volvo Cars app to find your vehicle, if you leave it in a large parking lot, for example, by flashing the lights and sounding the horn remotely. Availability may depend on your region.
Improvements
You can now turn the center display off for cleaning.
If you have a distance-capable key on you, the vehicle will lock automatically when you walk away from it. There are also improvements to automatic unlocking when you approach the vehicle.
You can adjust the light intensity in the center display, and the settings will be stored for the next driving cycle.
After you’ve turned it on, the wireless charger will stay on until you turn if off manually.
The trunk hatch won’t close while you're unloading things from the trunk.
Heat status for the steering wheel and seat heating is now shown correctly in the center display.
It’s now possible to use the Bowers and Wilkins (B & W) app in the vehicle.
The initial wiper stroke has been removed.
The operational range for the forward collision warning system has been expanded to account for vehicles moving perpendicular to the vehicle, and it can engage autonomous braking when both vehicles are moving at speeds between 40 and 60 km/h. This change does not affect compliance with any certification regulations.
This update also contains some minor improvements and fixes. Including improvements to:
  • Hands-off detection and lane change graphics for Pilot Assist
  • Bluetooth and phone connection stability
  • Sounds in the vehicle
  • Gear shifting at low speeds
  • Messages for the Advanced Driver Assistance System's (ADAS) Rear Auto Brake when driving in the dark
  • AC charging
  • General stability and performance of climate and interior lights
  • General stability
And fixes to:
  • Widgets for the map or media apps not appearing in the center display
  • Rearview mirror auto dimming
  • The map remaining visible in the center display when selected
  • Faulty warning notification for rain sensor
  • The contextual bar in the center display
  • Third-row seat folding

It stopped turning the wipers on automatically until Drive is selected to prevent splashing as one enters the car, which was a previous issue. Once a gear is selected it goes into automatic.

Separately, I had the driver side wiper leave a small water smudge after every wipe, which I thought was an issue with the wiper blade. Not sure how, but after the update I no longer get the smudge. Either it is a coincidence or a small change to the relative timing of the two wipers.

I also have written before about the bumpy ride I had over potholes. Today after the update the ride quality seems to have improved considerably (Nimble setting). Maybe I am imagining things but I think the new update has small changes to the electronic controls governing the car's behaviour.

So the wipers will not be turning as long as it is not in Drive although the icon shows in Auto setting? Because with me i can see the icon in Auto each time entering the car.

Since the new update, my Tidal App is broken. It only shows a black screen. it plays the songs as it should but it is not possible anymore to navigate within an album or a playlist… Even after a hard reset. Am I the only one with this issue?

UK member here - had the OTA notification yesterday, hit confirm when at home then it disappeared

Went out this afternoon, notification to install appears - great, wait until I'm back home to start installation and kick it off....

2 hours later - nope, it failed installation :(

Anyone know how to trigger the install prompt again? I went for a drive a few hours later for 20 minutes or so, but no luck.

update OTA first try complete.
Initial boot up gave the "Very low range - charge car asap" (false) error - SOC was 79%
Interior trim light, gold/white was off and didn't turn on for about 10 minutes.

  • HUD now doesn't show turn-by-turn when navigation is set. I hope it works after a good night's sleep.
  • Apple Carplay doesn't connect - says Bluetooth is not connected, even though it's connected to an apple phone
  • Polestar JourneyLog still not working

Just FYI on CarPlay... you want to connect via WiFi instead of Bluetooth... if Apple Music is important to you and you have the B&W audio system. Bluetooth doesn't have the bandwidth to support things like Dolby Atmos, but Wifi does. Link to instructions here: Connect to CarPlay
