Why only one key fob?

I posted this question on the Polestar community official page. IMHO having only one key fob is disappointing for a car of this price.
I am very disappointed that the Polestar 4 is only supplied with one key fob and one key card. This causes major problems when 2 people equally share the car. You provide opportunity to have multiple profiles and attach the fob and card to a profile. You do not seem to have considered the following:
the functionality of the key card is limited, you cannot use tailgate foot gesture to open the tailgate, without first unlocking the car by swiping the key card at the B pillar. This negates the whole hands free convenience of the feature. You cannot approach and unlock the vehicle from the passenger side or access the tailgate with the key card until a swipe on the drivers side B pillar. You cannot access the charging flap until, you guessed it, swiping the B pillar.
my point is that you have created a two tier ownership system. I cannot think of another premium SUV that does this by only supplying one fob with full access and functionality and a limited key card. Is it cost cutting or an oversight? I would like 2 fobs with equal and full access to all features, can I have another fob please?
If the answer is going to be that using the phone as a key will solve this then why didn’t you provide this from the release of P4 and when is it coming. If that is going to be the answer then why didn’t you provide early cars with two fobs until cars could be delivered with phone as key capabilities?

Hence my point about a second fob should have been supplied with deliveries until such time as the digital phone keys are a thing. I really hope this phone as a key solution is the real deal and it arrives very very soon.
Did you see on Facebook page that it is suggested that you need the steering wheel button upgrade to fully access the new software update, now slated for mid November?.

An update from Polestar, posted on the community page.

thanks for sharing your perspective on this. As we aim to release digital key before the end of this year, and this will be considered the main key for all Polestar 4 users, as we took the decision to supply one ultra-wideband key and one NFC key card from factory.

We currently don't offer any extra keys in the Extras webshop, but it would be possible to ask a local dealer to purchase as an extra part from them to code to the vehicle. However, we strongly believe in the new digital key technology that we hope to release soon!
