My trip runs from Dec 1st to Feb 28th and is my first full winter with the Polestar (LRSM front wheel 78 kWh). So, exactly 3 miles/kWh efficiency.

My daily commute is 36 miles round trip, mostly motorway at about 65 mph. I also do a fair few longer journeys, at 70 on the motorway. There’s no difference in efficiency in these two drives and so a full charge gets me comfortably over 200 miles. I should also add that winter tyres (all seasons) went on in November and instantly caused a noticeable drop in range. My May-September summer efficiency was 4 kWh, by the way.

No hypermiling done for this. Just regular driving and I’ve been pleased with the general efficiency of the car (as well as with the car in general - a lovely motor).

2021 Launch Edition (so no heat pump). At -20F I get about 120 mile range at 90%.. at 40+F I get 200 mile range at 90%... huge difference, but luckily I only need 100 mile for the longest drive I typically do in the winter, and I've never had a problem with range.

A huge difference indeed but thankfully we never see -20F in the UK. Heck, in the southeast of the country we get upset when it's a mild frost of 30F
