A primary indicator of financial distress is the relationship between current assets (cash and other assets expected to be converted to cash within a year) and current liabilities (debts due within a year). The report suggests current liabilities of $2.988 billion. This means Polestar’s short-term obligations due within the next year are nearly $3 billion more than its available short-term assets, creating a significant funding gap.

Does anyone see a path towards alleviating this? Li Fishu ante'd up 200M a while back. But 3B - seems like a pretty steep hill to climb.
Nothing comes of it. The current assets will be adjusted, because they'll re-up the "converted to cash within a year".

I was at the Columbus OH service center yesterday getting the wiring harness recall work done. I was talking to the Polestar sales consultant and he indicated that there won’t be a MY26 since they have so many MY25s in inventory. Instead they will jump right to MY27 and those will be out around June 2026.
This is what I was told at the Kansas City dealer just last week. I guess that was a total lie.

prolly not a lie - and what the dealer truly believes. which may or may not prove true in the short term.

car companies are very sensitive to the affect that launching new a model year has on existing inventory. and, if history is any guide, the US market is the "red headed step child" when it comes to receiving the latest technology from Polestar. iow - don't necessarily expect to ever see a MY26 P3 driving around the neighborhood. ;-)

Oh man, that sucks! I was hoping to get one in the next few months...
