Ignoring charge limit

I know this has been covered before but I rather hoped that 2.2 would correct my issue. When I set a charge limit the car ignores it. I had read in earlier posts that it remembers the previous limit set. Is this still an issue for others?

Weirdly I've had this for the first time last Friday. Never had it before. But perhaps this explains it;

Yes - it appears to me that it needs to be changed the charge before the one you actually need the revised charge for. I routinely do 90% but if I want 100% on, say, Saturday I’ll change it to 100% on Thursday, charge Thursday night and still get 90% but get 100% on Friday night.
I'll give it a try to verify...

It is for most people, especially if you have seen it after 1.9 … and there are variety of how the system can have a mind of its own. For some people, it’s always charging to the one setting behind, for others, it’s totally maddening times … 🤷🏼‍♂️ … looks like another issue which Polestar is just not able to resolve for some time.

I leave mine at 100% all the time and use my smart charger to stop it at whatever percentage I want/need, never fails. The only time I have set the max charge in the car, it was a mistake, I set it at 40% and that is what it stopped at, so I guess it worked that time ;)

I did have this issue, but haven't recently - but also haven't changed the value once it finally started honoring my 90% setting. I recall something similar to what others have suggested - it took a couple of charging sessions before it uses the new value and my mess started when I went to 100% prior to a long road trip back around 1.9 or 2.0

Just to confirm, from my own experience this thing is completely unpredictable … mine was steadily, always one step behind … last 3 days, I have gone from 80 to 90 to 100% … not once it misbehaved, shockingly to me … it’s literally impossible to predict what will happen next day week or who knows when.

I mostly charge on AC scheduled charging (scheduled at the Podpoint charger, rather than car schedule) so maybe it's more related to that, although I always did that prior to 1.9 and it was always fine. I assume a DC charge will honour the SOC limit, as might an unscheduled AC charge. I'll give the last one a go at some point to see.
