Got my Chassis Number today on the webpage, but have not got any emails about it yet. 🥳

 

From the time I got the VIN number in the JSON until they sent me an email, 15 days passed.

 

My current estimated delivery is 2023-09-07 (and no VIN) so you've leapfrogged me! Hopefully I get similarly good news soon.

I ordered 18 feb and then the "estimatedDeliveryDate" was 2023-09-14 in the JSON.
And when I got a got email that my car was in production and the "estimatedDeliveryDate" changed from "2023-09-14" to "2023-08-31".
I got this email yesterday:
"Your Polestar 2 has rolled off the production line in Taizhou in China, and is about to begin its journey to Norway. We will keep you updated along the way."

I ordered LRDM - Space - Pilot - Plus - Performance.
Maybe that have something to do with it?
Maybe they only produced cars with that spec that day? 🤷‍♀️

 

I don't suppose anyone with a US order has gotten anything more firm than "Estimated delivery, August 2023" have they?

 

If it's not coming via a Wallenius ship, the other big probability is that it's coming on a Mol Ace one: RoRo (choose Search by VIN)

 

An update on my order placed on 19JUN. The initial delivery estimate was August, now shifted to November. While I expected a delay, I was hoping it'd would have been less than this.

 

Placed mine on the 18th for an ETA of August - shifted to October now. Hoping it bounces back!

 

Now my "estimatedDeliveryDate " got changed back to "2023-09-14" from "2023-08-31"

 

Just had to supply some extra info and register for the 4G sim. Can't be too long now.

The Oberon is a Wallenius ship, not Mol Ace. You need to input your VIN using the Wallenius search link marhermi88 posted just a few messages above yours.

 

The Wallenieus VIN search is not that reliable, just a heads up

 

How do you search for a VIN? I only see BOL, Booking, and Customer Reference as options.

 

So my UK PPP order on Feb 23rd ( originally on the 28th Jan but wanted to change the seat colours grr ) departed on the Primrose Ace on Jul 1st, estimated into Bristol 21st August and JSON estimated delivery date is 2023-08-28.

I haven't had any email yet tho'.

 

You are correct. I remembered seeing people looking it at the Wallenius site before, but a search here on the forum reveals that they have now removed that option from the site for the general public.

 

The Traviata ship brought mine to the port of Bruges on Thursday. Now it comes in the Autosky to the port of Santander with an arrival on Sunday. Then by truck to the delivery point. i think they are coming PS2 to deliver in Portugal.

 

Yep my SMLR moved again to Nov now. Really hoping this starts trending in the other direction I don’t think I can wait that long as I was originally planning August.

 

Mine has moved forward to September (from October). I'm hoping that means it's bound for the next ship.

 

Yesterday they returned the €100 deposit and advanced the date from August 1 to July 25. Not long ago the forecast was for September. This is going well.

 

My ExpectedDelivery changed from 25/07 to 28/07. hopefully not creeping up too much now.

 

Mine is due in September (JSON is 25th August) and Polestar just told me it's currently in Shanghai waiting for a ship. Hopefully be on the move soon. Is there anyway to know which ship other than trying the VIN on the MolAce site. I understand that's not the only shipping company they use.

 

Volvo/Polestar use Mol Ace and Wallenius Wilhelmsen. I'm going to bet your car will board the WW Morning Lisa in Shangai tomorrow. It arrives at Bristol 19th. Aug, which matches your JSON date of arriving at PDI on the 25th.

Well I spoke to Polestar. They said they didn't know the name of the ship (I'm sure they could find out, but whatever). However they did confirm it was now in transit and on the way to the UK. So I'm pretty confident it is indeed on the Morning Lisa.

I've already set up notifications on the MarineTraffic app so I can stalk her all the way round the world

 

Delivery changed today from August to September. Polestar used to have the fastest delivery times, now they’re about the slowest.

 

That's strange. I received and accepted my delivery proposal from Polestar for August the 3th.
On 14/7 I've got the message that my car was in Belgium. Did you got that message from Polestar?

 

Leaseplan never posted an estimate (“expected delivery” is just today’s date, has been since order)

No licenseplate on the website either. Assumed this would follow after delivery to dealer.

 

My JSON EstimatedDelivery is 28/07 for our LRSM. No license plate showing up yet. Official delivery on the PS order page states August 2023. Leaseplan shows today's date for me too.

I'm thinking it'll be around mid to end August for us, since we ordered a tow bar.

 

I received a message from LeasePlan with some info and the my new license plate number on 18/7.
A day later the license plate number was on the PS website with my order.
This Monday 24/7 I received a mail from PS that I should react withing 48 hours to the proposed handover date on the PS website.

I have a MY24 LRSM plus & pilot with towbar.

I did read stories from others that this date can still be changed last minute by PS.

 

Got my reg today and the ship (WW Morning Lisa) departed Singapore which is the last stop before Bristol! Fingers crossed for an early September handover.

Just had a call from PoleStar. My car doesn't start anymore.
PS hopes that a new software update will fix it.
This new software is not yet available so my handover on 3/8 is cancelled, new date is unknown and needs to be confirmed.

Polestar Belgium already received a few trucks with MY24 cars. A handful delivered to customers.
My car is the only one that doesn't start (they told this like it was good news).
I was hoping that I wouldn't get to many of the PS technical problems that you read about on this forum.

Let's look at it positively, my home charger will be placed on 14/8 so a handover in that week would be perfect.
Then I only need a car that actually starts... ;-)
