My local space confirmed my car is in port (LA) and being wrapped (battleship gray, no stripe). Should be in Denver by mid January with an estimated delivery date to me of 1/19. So things are coming along. I still don't see the wrap reflected in my config or invoice - but just assume it will flush out at delivery.

My order for my BST (1 of 10 in Canada) showed a port arrival date of Dec. 15th (Vancouver) and an estimated delivery of Jan. 27, 2023 (Toronto space). The local space still doesn't have more details other than they still think those dates should be close. Can't wait ;)

So awesome Wolf! Your BST looks incredible! No stripe snow is the best config IMO. Jorge was talking to me about your car yesterday. I'm going to swing by the Marin space to check out some cars tomorrow. Big congrats!
Thanks! Say hi to John for me, dude’s awesome to work with. They had a Midnight there, only other color I’d consider (but paint the chrome). Yeah, the snow with no stripe just looks so clean to me. If I had opted for the stripe I would have asked for it to be offset to the side. Down the middle looks a little weird for my taste.

Here’s a few shots of my snow BST. I am saving the original wheels for summer. My winter wheels is a really tight fit as you can see. Done 300km in the car so far and it is amazing. I was a bit worried how hard it would feel but the 8/8/8 setup it comes with feels just amazing - not uncomfortable at all.

We have BSTs in the forum!! Thank you guys for charing!
I would never personally have opted out of the stripe, but I must say on your pictures it looks really good and classy without it! 👍👍❤

How are they to drive? How do they feel compared to other p2s?

Congrats! You don’t lie when you say really tight fit…it’s anxiety inducing lol

I thought I read somewhere U.S. cars come with a 7/7/7 set up, I forgot to ask. If that is true, moving to a 8/8/8 set would most likely be the sweet spot for most. I did have the back of my head bounce on the seat rest a couple times through some bumps driving it home, but I don’t mind the current set-up at all.

The feel is phenomenal. I test drove a DMPPP a few months back, there is a definite difference. The DMPPP is a great drive, but I instantly felt the heaviness of the car. The BST is of course heavy (heavier?), but that feeling is tuned out with the increased steering responsiveness. The accelerator is also more responsive. Which is something that was lacking from the DMPPP I drove, which didn’t have the recent power upgrade that I’m hoping improves it.

Driving dynamics is what I was worried of when opting for an EV (it’s my first) because I enjoy driving so much. The BST addressed that completely. My background is not with high-end cars, but they are cars with awesome driving dynamics. I have an 07’ Subaru STi Limited, which happens to actually be limited; 195/800. I installed the suspension and suspension bits from a Subaru STi S204 for greater feel. I also have a 2020 Subaru STi Limited (not so limited) which is the best steering responsiveness I’ve felt in a car. You can’t really compare hydraulic to electronic steering (and you shouldn’t), but the BST feels as awesome as my STis, which I love.

Thanks for the feedback!

Can’t wait!

OMG!! Thank you!
I just had a fantastic run in my SM and god I love it, but reading this confirms what we should have bought! 😄👍

Should we be concerned about this? Should we reach out to Polestar to ask about that?
Those are custom AEZ wheels. Don’t think Polestar is going to say much more then “you should use the original wheels or leave the recommended 3mm of space”. Nice wheels though! A lot more suited for that car than the Polestar winter wheels IMO!

@Lars_01 are these the 20x9 ET40 or ET53? Checking willtheyfit, I am assuming the 53.
Front is 20x8 ET 50 and back is 20x9 ET 53. They were fitted by my local space before i took over the car. I didnt like to normal performance wheels on the all white/black car so wanted something all black along the lines of the original bst wheels. They are called AEZ Porto Black matte
