The videos of the recent test drives have dropped-
i don't know where you took data for December.Polestar was a huge brand in Norway, two years ago they sold 1200 cars in December, current December they will sell 40 P4. It is not lack of brand recognition for these poor sales. Do you know why Polestar fell flat in Norway?
That could be good in certain parts of the world, heard it is common with smash and grab in these places even when standing still in traffic. I don’t think Polestar did it for that purpose. It could be a good rental, every time I rented car in the US they for some reason remove the shelf at the back that hides your stuff, so annoying.I think it's kind of a good idea - this way you don't have to worry about hiding stuff under the (glass of the) hatch. but yeah, that's the kind of neighborhood I live in.
I looked at eu-evs.comi don't know where you took data for December.
official data from the Traffic information council states that in november 2024 they sold 147 cars against 103 in november 2023.
up to november 2024 PS sold 1891 cars, jan-nov 2023 sold 1538, so slightly better, but for sure not the sales to the roof as they prolly hoped for with two new SUVs in line.
on the other hand in the last months the sales of P2 dropped, so i think the rest of registered sales are for P3 and P4.
they haven't updated the data completely yet, but it seems that almost all the sales shifted to the new models...

I think you're the one who should take a deep breath. At no point did nbvolks 'go ballistic', and I thought his post showing the significant structural differences between the Zeekr and Polestar was interesting and useful. You should take a deep breath. All I said is that there were no other reason for Polestar 4 lack of rear window than being quirky. This made you go ballistic for some reason.
I explained why, he also stalks me on other forums, not ok. I don’t know what you contributed here though with your post, I already said bye to him.I think you're the one who should take a deep breath. This thread is only going to go one of two ways - either everyone calms down or it gets locked.

Guess I'm not most people - the camera in the P4 is the best solution I've had for rear visibility in >30 years of cars. I was sceptical at first until I drove it, I presume that the "most people" that you refer to have never driven it and are just offering an opinion based on zero evidence, hearsay and regurgitating comments that they may have seen. As Mark Twain said, "never let the truth get in the way of a good story".The "no rear window is not a problem" by some is same as "no stalks or gear switch is not a problem" by some Tesla fans.
Most people think it is a problem. Polestar could have had this exact rear view mirror and a window at the back like all other cars. They just did this to be quirky, but it is just a poor design choice. The only reason it is there is because of the designers ego. Don't believe their explanations for more space in the rear, the Zeekr 001 and many other cars have same room.
good point. there are a lot of cars out there - and you chose this one.But the ultimate goal, on my end, is to seek resolution in some form or fashion to these complaints.
I agree with you!Guess I'm not most people - the camera in the P4 is the best solution I've had for rear visibility in >30 years of cars. in fact - on one prominent 2024 year end "best list" - the one flaw of the top car of the year (a Volvo btw) is that it doesn't have a rear view camera!Guess I'm not most people - the camera in the P4 is the best solution I've had for rear visibility in >30 years of cars. I was sceptical at first until I drove it, I presume that the "most people" that you refer to have never driven it and are just offering an opinion based on zero evidence, hearsay and regurgitating comments that they may have seen. You can’t stop can you? All for saying the no rear window serves no purpose. Has something happened to you and you letting it out on me?I am not stalking you.
I'm on Swedespeed, and have been since early 2019, because we have a Volvo. I follow and participate in the EX90 sub-forum there to the extent that there is overlap with the P3, which we also have.
You on the other hand are there doing the same thing you do here, which is post with the only apparent intent to be to drive people away from both brands and their products. You've never created a thread in either forum, and you've not really helped any existing or prospective owners, which is sort of the fundamental purpose of these forums.
And look, there are plenty of issues and complaints to be had with these cars. I've certainly made many of those complaints myself. But the ultimate goal, on my end, is to seek resolution in some form or fashion to these complaints.
But....what are you here for at this point?
But it is not rubbish. Tell me what polestar solved with this? And I don’t know who you are and I don’t care, neither should you.I agree with you!
I don't know who this LeStar is but it seems to me he is 'talking through his rear window'. 'Quirky', 'poor design choice', 'designers ego' - what utter rubbish. If you believe this then don't buy the car. For me the P4 is a brilliant car, flaky software issues included.
Why do we need a rear window when an excellent rear view camera system offers better visibility?
