My post this morning disappeared for some reason, and I am re-posting it again below:

I am waiting for the car to be towed to my nearby Space as I am typing this message on my phone. Very frustrating experience. Please pardon the typos and the dirty screen when you read this post.
I thought I could be spared by many problems discussed on this forum, but I guess I am not the lucky one.
Only after 1,918 miles, my 2022 single motor Polestar refused to move when I returned to the car after driving for like 20 minutes this morning. I got two error messages, indicating propulsion system failure and acceleration performance reduced. The little yellow turtle appeared on the dashboard and my car is not driverable.
Adding insult to the injury, neither the SOS nor the Connect button were able to get me to the Polestar service for an hour. I got through the line a couple of times but the call quality was terrible and dropped. I am in the downtown area of my city so the cell service should be good. I finally Google the Polestar roadside assistance number and called through my cell phone.
Don’t get me wrong, I love this car when it works well. Unfortunately it’s probably not very reliable, at least in my case. The propulsion system warning has happened before but the car was driverable. So I took the car to the Polestar Space a few weeks ago, and they assured me the problem was fixed. I guess not. There is a reason it ranked last in the recent JD Power survey.
UPDATE1: While waiting for the towing service, I left and locked the car to make a quick phone call. When I returned to the car after 5 minutes, everything functions as normal again. I immediately drove to the nearby Polestar Space, which is only 4 miles away from where I was.
Let's hope it will be a quick fix. It is frustrating that I just had the car at the Space for the same issue a few weeks ago when the car was still driveable.
BTW, the towing service just texted me that they will be there in 90 minutes.
I am fortunate that I don't have to wait for them.
UPDATE 2: I got my P2 back after a week at my local Polestar Space. They claimed that they have replaced the inverter and it should fix the propulsion system failure due to "internal memory loss."
Although they initially suggested that the inverter has to be shipped from oversea and they don't have an ETA for the part, it arrived last Friday. I don't know if it helped (I doubt it) but I did complain to Polestar Customer Service via the Chat function last Friday about my P2's persistent propulsion issue after only 2 months' ownership and 1,800 miles.
I hope this will be the last time I visit Polestar services until next scheduled maintenance in two years.
