I'm on 2.2 and can no longer get the car to recognise my usb device. It worked perfectly before they broke it with 1.9. I've tried reformatting the drive, tried a new drive, updated the app, but to no avail. "No audio files", "Plug in a USB drive" 🙄 I can charge my phone via the USB input so it can't be "dead", a little pi**ed off to say the least.😡

Hmm you are the second person to report that, and it looks like you are also in the UK...

Polestar have said something about 2.2 on Facebook:

We’ve begun to redeploy the latest OTA software update incrementally in batches and two versions are available for download:
1. For customers in all markets except the UK and US, P2.2 with the full set of enhancements, including Apple CarPlay will be available for download.
2. For customers in the UK and US, P2.2 which does not have Apple CarPlay, will be available for download.
We’re working hard on releasing P2.2 with the full set of enhancements as a top priority for all customers in the US and UK and sincerely apologise for the inconvenience.
I wonder if USB data connection is tied to CarPlay feature... that would mean there are two different 2.2 versions out there regarding USB support (it works fine for me on 2.2 outside UK/US).

Does anyone in the UK or US have 2.2 and AudioWagon is working?

I can charge my phone via the USB input [...]
That can always be done, charging can (usually) not be blocked by any software, this is different from the USB data connection.

I am a UK user who upgraded to 2.2 last night from 1.9 and my USB keyboard stopped working. I can try a USB flash drive with AudioWagon later but I’m currently suspecting the 2.2 released to the UK is actually 2.1 with a new version number.

Confirmed - AudioWagon cannot find a flash drive. Guess we have the borked USB host still

Just updated my software to V2.2 and can confirm the AudioWagon app cannot find the flashdrive

I'm UK, have 2.2 (the version before they pulled it) and AudioWagon is working. (I have the reversing mirror issue, km instead of miles, and a jumpier reversing collision warning. )
Same here. UK with 2.2 and associated bugs. Car complains the USB drive is not readable, but I can ignore that message and AudioWagon then works fine.

I have a Volvo XC40 P8 (same infotainment as Polestar 2). Used AudioWagon until the USB port in the car was disabled with car SW 2.1. Received version 2.2 (OTA) yesterday and installed it. As I live in Norway, this version is delivered with wired Apple CarPlay included.
Connected the USB stick (same as before SW2.1) and received immediately an error message:

Error message translated form Norwegian:
Error in USB-unit
This USB-unit is not supported
Abort

When pushing 'Avbryt' (Abort), AudioWagon starts up and everything works as it should. So, it is more of a 'cosmetic' error. Using the newest version of AudioWagon (2.0.1).

do hou have another type or brand of usb memory stick available ?
I have sticks that aren’t compatible and have the same error as you when I use the wrong type.

I had all those error messages also, so I re-formatted my 64Gb stick to FAT32 and tried again and the first time I had the error message Device error, this USB device is not supported, , then a message stating Legal Disclaimer not agreed, but once I agreed that, Audiowagen starting indexing my files (around 1000 of them) and it started working fine.My memory stick is a THKAILAR 64GB USB-C Flash Drive High Speed USB 3.0 Thumb Drive C FWIW

I have been in contact with MoleMan, the developper of AudioWagon. He says that this errormessage does not come from the AudioWagon app, but from the Infotainment system itself. Which means that I have to live with it.

the details of this are literally in this very thread. As soon as the original 2.2 came out, he identified this and confirmed that it still works just click past the message.

then 2.2 without carplay came out for some markets where USB still didnt work. Now 2.2 with carplay is rolling out to those markets, along with the USB fix.

I have never been able to get all of my album art to display in Audiowagon. Is these something specific I need to do? The data is there if I am playing the music and listening to it on just my phone (not through the car, but say some headphones).

I tried reading my USB memory stick just now and got the error message too (USB device not supported).
I'm 100% sure it did work when I installed 2.2 and tried the USB connection with AudioWagon.
didn't use my stick since the first try tho, so I don't know when it stopped working...
