I tried reading my USB memory stick just now and got the error message too (USB device not supported).
I'm 100% sure it did work when I installed 2.2 and tried the USB connection with AudioWagon.
didn't use my stick since the first try tho, so I don't know when it stopped working...

just ignore that message it should still work in AudioWagon

edit: started from scratch, reformatted usb drive and reinstalled AudioWagon.
all fine again

I have never been able to get all of my album art to display in Audiowagon. Is these something specific I need to do? The data is there if I am playing the music and listening to it on just my phone (not through the car, but say some headphones).

I hope Polestar will/can, in a future update, do something about these annoying messages every time you enter the car when USB drive is plugged in for use with AudioWagon.

Now, for me after clearing the annoying message, it can be a crapshoot: Most of the time the drive and AudioWagon work, but once or twice it did not, and sometimes, it will not read all of my music. Finally, a couple of times, my drive has become corrupted. Files being doubled up, and no log files. Anyone else seeing strange behavior? I am not putting this on AudioWagon...I totally think this has something to do with the ports and update 2.2. Which usb port is everyone using now? I am still using the one with the white ring around it.

I'm pretty sure it's the only one actually wired for data. The other port will fast charge my phone while the data port just charges normal speed. Seems to confirm they're wired differently.

Yep, definitely just the white one. 'Polestar' on facebook referred to 'both front ports' in a post, but that was when they were undertaking one of their not infrequent 'making stuff up as you go along' moments...

Although in a Volvo, I have AW v2.01 installed and since the AAOS v2.2 update I no longer have album art displayed. I might try a delete/reinstall but wondered is there a specific solution?

Before you delete/reinstall I would like an error report with a log file, so I can maybe see the actual root cause and fix it so it does not happen again and how to work around such an issue in the meantime. It could have lots of reasons why album art does not show up.

J'ai AudioWagon depuis le début.
J'ai eu des problèmes de saut parfois! Après il y a eu des mises à jour où rien ne fonctionnait mais depuis la 2.2 c'est revenu. Il s'ajoute le message d'erreur USB non reconnu qu'il suffit d'accepter puis de continuer dans AudioWagon. La fonction de case à cocher pour ne plus demander n'est toujours pas opérationnelle. Mais le programme fonctionne. Cependant, j'ai encore quelques sauts MP3 et après vérification, il semble que parfois AudioWagon crée ce problème dans le fichier MP3 ! si je teste sur PC certains fichiers MP3 sont tronqués après avoir été utilisés sur le P2 alors qu'au départ ils étaient bons. Le problème vient-il d'AudioWagon ou du Player utilisé s'il vient d'Android ?
Je ne sais pas si d'autres ont ce problème ?

J'avais déjà ce problème de saut de musique à la sortie de AudioWagon et même posté plusieurs fois le fichier journal mais vous n'avez pas trouvé d'où vient ce problème !

Hi Alan, the first popup about not supported USB drive comes from Polestar/Volvo and I can't do anything about it.

The problem that the checkmark in the permission popup ("always open AudioWagon") does not do anything is mentioned in the FAQ section and I would also need Polestar/Volvo to change something to allow the user to select my app to be a default handler for USB.

You are saying that files on the USB drive are missing after using AudioWagon. I don't remember you have reported this by e-mail previously, I think we were only talking about jumps in music which I could not help with, I just saw MediaPlayer errors in the log. However if files go missing it is likely that AudioWagon is causing this. I have created a new ticket for this and am already looking into something similar I saw recently.

If anyone is experiencing losing files, please try to repair the USB drive in a PC afterwards and forward any recovered log files. Or if anyone can reliably reproduce this issue, that would be very helpful. These issues are difficult to reproduce and debug, with more info I might be able to solve it more quickly. Thanks.

he is talking about jumps or cut offs, not missing files.

I am indeed talking about a file which 'as one would say in Belgium they ratatouilles' have not disappeared.
PC scan finds nothing, but some MP3s are truncated
